Focusing manually

Gewoonlijk kunt u de scherpstelling overlaten

aan de autofocus van de camcorder. In de

volgende gevallen echter kunt u betere

opnameresultaten bereiken door handmatig

scherp te stellen.

•In speciale gevallen kan de autofocus soms niet

goed werken, bij het opnemen van:

– onderwerpen achter matglas of beslagen

vensterglas

– onderwerpen met horizontale strepen

– onderwerpen met weinig tekening of contrast,

met op de achtergrond een wand, de lucht,

enz.

•Wanneer u de scherpstelling wilt veranderen,

van een onderwerp op de voorgrond naar een

onderwerp op de achtergrond.

•Voor het opnemen van een stilstaand

onderwerp, met de camcorder op een statief.

(1) Zet de POWER schakelaar in de “CAMERA”

stand of de “MEMORY/NETWORK” stand

(alleen voor de DCR-IP55E).

(2) Druk op de FOCUS toets. De 9

scherpstelaanduiding verschijnt.

(3) Draai aan de scherpstelring tot u uw

onderwerp scherp in beeld hebt.

Handmatig

scherpstellen

You can gain better results by manually adjusting

the focus in the following cases. Normally, focus

is automatically adjusted.

•The autofocus mode is not effective when

shooting:

– subjects through glass coated with water

droplets

– horizontal stripes

– subjects with little contrast with backgrounds

such as walls or the sky

•When you want to change the focus from a

subject in the foreground to a subject in the

background

•Shooting a stationary subject when using a

tripod

(1) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA or

MEMORY/NETWORK (DCR-IP55E only).

(2) Press FOCUS. The 9 indicator appears.

(3) Turn the focus ring to sharpen focus.
