Turning On/Off a Component

1 Set the slide swifcdi on the Remote

Commander to VCR (to turn on/otf

a VCR), CABLE (to turn on/off a

cable box), or TV (to turn on/off on a

TV).

» Some buttons on dve Commander work exclusively with

specific components. These buttons also function

independent of die position of die slide switch. For example,

you can use die tape transport buttons (rewind, play, fast-

forward, record, stop, and pause) to control the VCR even if

die switch is set to TV or CABLE. Fte a cootqilefe list of
